Hello everybody!
The suitcases are packed (and mostly zipped), the music is nestling safely between our clothes, and we are more than ready to hit the road!
My name is Erica Wachs, and I'm currently a senior excited to start singing in Budapest and Vienna. I will be your resident blogger, so I encourage you to visit to this page daily to find out all about our travels.
Personally, I've been singing in chorus since I was in 6th grade and have been in B-Flats all four years of high school. The fact that this is my last trip as both as a chorus member and a B-Flat is too bittersweet to even hit me at the moment. This trip is even more special for me, considering I am Liesl in Baldwin's 125th Anniversary production of The Sound of Music, and the fact that I'm traveling to Austria while in rehearsals for this fantastic show makes the trip all the more exciting. (It also means bear with me, as there will be many Sound of Music puns to go around.)
I cannot wait to update everyone on what I'm sure will be the trip of a lifetime!
